Personality assessment

• How does the cat respond to dogs? She doesn’t mind them
• How does the cat respond to cats she’s never met? She’s not in love with the idea. She’d rather they leave her alone. But after a few days, she’s pretty amiable with everyone.
• Does the cat enjoy being held/cuddled? No, she doesn’t enjoy that at all. She loves to be petted and brushed. but doesn’t like to be held.
• Is the cat social with other cats? She tends to lean toward being social with one cat. Like she’ll pick out a friend and that’s her favorite. Everyone else can just eat her socks.
• Is the cat social with people? She is social with people and very talkative. She does little ballerina spins when she sees you, and wants you to pet her. But again, she prefers not to be held.
• How confident is the cat? On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give her a 6. She can be jumpy when she hears loud noises or sees people she doesn’t know. But after the initial “shock” she comes around and is fine. She’s just a little quirky.
• Does the cat approach strangers? Not immediately.
• Is the cat more social or more of a loner? I would say she’s more on the loner side, but she’s always been around cats – an environment with one other cat would be ideal for her.
• Does the cat have an alpha personality? Not at all
• Energy Level: Medium
• Bad Habits: No bad habit from Blanche. She’s a very clean cat and has the Non -matting fur (which is nice). I would say overall she enjoys the company of humans over cats.
