UPDATE: I’ve decided to retire Chichi. I produced her nearly 3 years ago and we have a special kind of relationship. She’s a sassy, classy, filled with tortietude crazy girl who is my spirit animal. I just can’t bring myself to mate her again, even though I’d love to keep her line going. Her contribution to the Maine Coon breed is extraordinary and I’m thankful to her for that. She will stay with me forever as a pet.

CHICHI’s Personality Assessment

This assessment is provided to you to assist in the decision-making process of a kitten. So much of the parent’s temperaments are passed down to their kittens.

Does the cat enjoy being held/cuddled? No, she does not, thank you very much. She has a tortietude and prefers that you not restrain her free spirit in any way.
Does the cat enjoy being brushed? She likes it, until you try to brush the belly.
Is the cat social with other cats? Yes. She loves other cats, never hisses, and rubs on everyone, asking them to lick her on the head.
Is the cat social with people? Yes. She likes to be the center of attention.
How confident is the cat? As confident as every sassy girl should be, so…VERY CONFIDENT. It’s the main reason I chose to keep her in my breeding program. She walks around like she owns the place. Well, she kinda does.
Does the cat approach me when I enter the cattery? Chichi lives in the home with us and our pets. She will stay with me once she retires.
