Monroe is a black mackerel torbie with white. She has a silky non-matting type coat. This is a very desirable coat type in the Maine Coon if you prefer a cat that requires less grooming.

Sassy Koonz is ALWAYS striving to find the best of the best cats that fit the breed standard for a Maine Coon. One of the biggest challenges is to find the perfect head and profile. After another long search for months to find a female that has all of the best qualities, Monroe was chosen for our breeding program.

To make things even more exciting, Monroe will be living with my daughter Mallory. Mallory has decided to join the forces of Sassy Koonz and help contribute to the Sassy Koonz breeding program. So Monroesie (that’s her first of many nicknames) has begun her journey with Mallory and is planning to have kittens this summer.
