Governor is such a gentle, sweet soul. He moves with such confidence. He's slow, steady and doesn't get excited overmuch. We love his head, profile, body and non-matting coat. After a wonderful contribution to our cattery, he is now retired.

The Governor is one of the best additions to the Sassy Koonz Breeding program since we began our journey. He helped us produce some of the healthiest Maine Coon kittens so far!

He retired in 2026, and passed the torch to Viking.

As a kitten, he impressed the judges by winning the title of “Best Kitten” and “Best of the Best.” The judges remarked that everything about him was excellent, from the tip of his head to the tip of his tail.

I’ve literally never owned a more perfect cat in my experience as a Sassy Koonz Breeder. He’s magnificent from head to toe.
